Does this sound like you?

Tired of diet culture, but scared of what happens if you let go?

That fear makes total sense. But freedom from food rules isn't chaos, it's calm.

  • You think about food constantly…what you’ve eaten, what you wish you hadn’t, what's coming next.

  • You've tried the diets, the plans, the fresh starts, and you're exhausted by the thought of letting yourself down again.

  • Food swings between being your best friend and your enemy, sometimes within the same day.

  • You know your rules are flawed, but without them, you don't know what eating even looks like. What do “normal” people do??

  • The guilt, the shame, the hiding - not just from others, but from yourself - has become part of your daily life, and it feels scary.

  • Somewhere underneath all of this non-stop noise, you know this isn't really about the food, but don’t know where to start.

I know these feelings well. Which is exactly why I can tell you, hand on heart, that there is a way out. Whenever you're ready, I'm here to help.

I’m Natalie…

My work focuses on helping adults of all genders find a peaceful relationship with food, and with themselves. Having spent decades searching for a way to feel “fixed”, this work is deeply personal to me. I will be taking on new clients from September, and people on my waiting list will be the first to hear when I have availability. So if this sounds like you, feel free to join the list.

So, what actually is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy?

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy has very little in common with what you've seen on TV. There's no swinging watch, no one making you cluck like a chicken, no waking up wondering what just happened.

Some sessions will involve more CBT to help you understand and break the unhelpful patterns you want to change. Others may involve hypnotherapy, which helps change the automatic responses and habits that run in the background. You'll be in a relaxed, focused state - a bit like being completely absorbed in a good book - where your attention narrows, and your imagination becomes a powerful tool for change. You're aware of everything throughout, and nothing happens without your full engagement.

We’ll always decide on next steps together, because it’s vital that the journey feels right for you every step of the way.

How it works

We have a free consultation

1

A relaxed, no-pressure conversation online lasting around 20 minutes, where you can tell me a bit about you, ask any questions, and get a feel for whether working together feels right. No commitment needed.

Your first sessions are about building a picture of your history, and the unhelpful behaviours and beliefs that keep your difficult relationship with food going. This involves zero judgement on what or how you eat. It's purely about getting to understand why.

We start to understand what's really going on

2

Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy, we work on changing the thought patterns and responses that have kept you stuck. Most people notice a shift in how they think, feel or behave around food much sooner than they expect.

3

Things begin to shift

You build a relationship with food that doesn’t need rules to hold it together

4

Not a diet. A genuine, lasting sense of calm around food that gives you the sense of peace you’re craving.
